Lost 25 Pounds and Resting Heart Rate Improved

Paul Eichelberger How long have you been practicing Bikram Yoga? Three years What was your life/body like before you began practicing Bikram Yoga?
I was 220 pounds, approaching the point of needing medication for high blood pressure and trouble sleeping.
What motivated you to take your first class?
I wanted to be with a group of positive people where I could get a great workout and would hold my interest. I wanted an activity I could do 12 months of the year and show results.
How often do you practice?
3-4 times per week
How has your life/body changed since you started practicing?
I've lost 25 pounds, my resting heart rate dropped to 45, lowered blood pressure 20 points and I sleep better. But, the number one thing is I FEEL BETTER physically and mentally at 66 than when I was 46.
Is there anything else?
After my yearly physical my doctor wants to know more about Bikram Yoga :)
